Did B.A (Economics) at Hindu Nadar's Senthikumara Nadar College, Virudhunagar during 1948 to 1952
Work Experience : Did Teaching profession for 3 years at Sivakasi Hindu Nadar Victoria High school, and also in other nearby colleges, upto 1958.
Joined “Daily Thanthi”, the Tamil vernacular Newspapers, as a Journalist in 1958, and got retired as “Chief Reporter” in 1989
Tours / Foreign Trips : Had been with Smt. Indira Gandhi & Shri. Rajiv Gandhi (in 1987), during their Foreign Delegations, when they were in the capacity of Prime Minister of India and visited USA, Germany, Syria, Hungary & other Countries

Worked as a Media Person, since 1958, and had genial relationship with Tamilnadu Chief Ministers, Shri . Anna Durai, Shri. Kamaraj, Shri. M.G.R, Shri. Karunanidhi and also with the State Ministers, MLAs & State MPs
Also met His Majesty Prince Charles, Prince of Edinburgh, during his majesty’s visit to Chennai, in 1980
